Sometimes even great images make the cutting room floor! This photo was originally shot for the cover of the winter issue of Table Magazine (http://www.tablemagazine.com). Unfortunately the previous cover had been a dark image and the team felt two dark images in a row might be too... dark. Spite its beauty, this image hit the floor. I must say, I do think it was a the right decision, causing us to shoot the beautiful cover you will soon be seeing on stands! Cheese by Wild Purveyors, Styled by Adriana Jacoud.

Sapling Press Takes Root
Local Pittsburgh letterpress legend, Lisa Krowinski, owner of Sapling Press, makes outstanding letterpress note cards, invitations, announcements and custom pieces. She recently teamed up with the website "DearBlankPleaseBlank.com" to put their most memorable and entertaining submissions on paper (beautiful, 100% cotton paper to be exact). Dear Blank, Please Blank allows visitors to the site to submit their own sayings and review others with a humorous rating scale. Lisa now offers letterpress note cards of well-rated sayings such as "Dear Fork, I understand that we haven't spoken since I ran off with dish, but I thought you should know that you have a son. His name is spork. He has your hair. Sincerely, Spoon."
