Coffee Old Fashioned !
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
.5 oz coffee liqueur
¼ oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 bourbon-soaked cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
For the bourbon-soaked cherries: Thaw 10 oz. frozen cherries. Combine 1 cup of bourbon and ¼ cup sugar in a saucepan, and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Place this mixture in a jar with the cherries, seal, and refrigerate.
For the cocktail: Stir the bourbon, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, and bitters together over ice. Strain into a rocks glass filled with one large cube of ice. Garnish with a soaked cherry, and enjoy with a candy apple!
