#tablet question

Hi artists. I need your advice.

My daughter wants to get into digital drawing, but we don't know what a good starter pack looks like. She wants to do it on a tablet she can take with her, and is interested in animatics. What recommendations would you have?

wacom tablet question

my parents bought me a huge tablet a couple years ago for my graduation. the thing is, it's a bit...cumbersome? like it's super nice but god, it's annoying to try to put it anywhere just because it's so large.

I'm wondering if I should just shut up and get used to it, or if digital artists find smaller tablets are better to work with. I have a Macbook Pro that I work on, if that matters.

I just bought a new tablet (Genius EasyPen F610E to be precise) and I can't get the damn pressure to work in SAI or Photoshop for that matter. The settings show it working FINE, I uninstalled and re-installed SAI, I changed the settings in there that should work for pressure, I downloaded the latest driver and rebooted my computer about a gazillion times, I tried every possible solution I could find online and NONE OF IT WORKS.

Frankly I was having a blast with this arriving on Christmas day but now it just makes me depressed because it's not working as it should and without pressure it's as much as useless to me -.-

So I have kind of a bug up my ass lately about getting back into drawing (I realized earlier today that it's been over three years since I drew anything that took me longer than two minutes to do) and I'm thinking of buying a tablet, but it's really hard for me to figure out what a good first tablet to buy would be...I don't have a ton of money, especially with Christmas coming up, but I was curious if anybody could give me some advice for something good for a beginner who wants to learn how to do digital art? If it's even a good idea to try doing this at all?

okay so i'm seriously gonna buy a tablet... i sort of know what i want, but suggestions or advice would be awesome! so anyone?

Does anyone know the name of the tablet that I feel like everyone ever was recommending to everyone else a few months back? It was supposed to be well priced and really good on macs and PCs and it wasn't a wacom or intuos or anything like that.

Because I really need a new tablet.

Tablet question

I mainly want my tablet for Netflix/internet browsing/games.

Do I spend more money on an iPad, or save a little and get the Kindle Fire HD with the buyout for no advertisements? Or the third option, do I wait for the iPad mini to come out, and buy it?

I really don't know what to do, so please, any response is appreciated!
