tack - 1890s. EITHER a lumber worker who gets paid in scrip OR a factory worker performing some kind of unskilled labor. half Italian half Irish full menace. loyal unionist who gets into semiregular fistfights with scabs and always loses but he's doing his best. definitely doesn't know how to read and he gets really insecure about it even tho no one else he knows can either.

min - 1910s. mean suffragette and temperance activist. all the other women in her working class anarcha-feminist agitator group make fun of her for being a no-fun narc but she's always the first person in the room to suggest solving x social problem with a pipe bomb. she's also strictly anti-war and no she doesn't think it's hypocritical to be a pacifist and also set town hall on fire. she made sure no one was in the building first :/

noah - 1940s/50s. dweeby new money heir with a "nervous constitution" who doesn't dodge the draft bc his dad would be mad about it, serves in ww2, and then 6 years later his family has him quietly institutionalized and lobotomized and they never talk about him again
