it's got five slip pockets and two zipper ones and rather comfortably holds my phone, my wallet, sunglasses, tissues, my keys, spare masks, a mirror, crayons and a notebook and a pen, two (2) snack bars, a little thing of apple juice, a little 8oz water bottle, and!! a small book!!!!! (although it does get a little heavy. but it can take it!! i also just love......carrying stuff...................) strap is adjustable!!!!! rainbow hardware!!!!!!! fun star zipper pulls!!!!!!!!!! adorable!!!!!!!!!!!
the pattern is kitty purse by sew desu ne, but i assembled it with the bias binding method instead bc I used a water-resistant fabric for the exterior and knew it would be a pain to turn inside out the way the pattern calls for (the. birthing method.). the bias binding method (despite the pure agony of doing bias binding) turns out VERY easily right through the zipper instead!!!!! I did have to touch up the inside though, but that was just kinda finicky, not all that bad. inside is cotton, and for stability, the lining is backed with felt (because i just didn't want to buy heavier interfacing. ive got like ten million little felt sheets left over from my brief dont hug me im scared-fueled felt-buying binge circa 2015 or whenever that was) and the pockets have quilt batting!
