CONTROLS THE REMOTE: honestly taejoon. carter isn’t a very picky person and he’s content to just cuddle on the couch and watch anything as long as it’s not scary.CONTROLS THE FURNACE: carter. his body runs warm so he likes to keep the place nice & cool. and if taejoon ever complains about the cold, he just offers his body warmth as the obvious solution.MAKES NACHOS AT 2AM: BOTH? but like thIs boy ... my carter ... keeps such weird hoUrs? like between sleeping like a feather to keep tabs on sylvie, and taking online courses and trying to start up a business he’d just get hungry and eat whenever. sometimes, taejoon is already making nachos before carter can even get up from his seat. it’s a beautiful thing to have nachos all ready when you get hungry. :”)REALLY REALLY LIKES CANDY CRUSH: okAy so carter is V into video games and he’s competitive af. so it’d be something stupid like his mom sent him a request for candy crush and then he’d be like ... lol this is stupid ... but then he’d have to win && he’d whine anytime he lost and i swear there’s probably a few hours in the day where he’s looking at his laptop all pensive and taejoon thinks he’s working or something but he looks over his shoulder && he’s lit being candy crush for 3 hours.DRINKS DIRECT FROM THE ORANGE JUICE JUG: carter like ... he’d have gotten used to it from living on his own for so long and taking care of sylvie and who has time to do dishes when you need to change a 3 year old’s diaper and get her to pre-school in 5 minutes ?? so, now it’s an old habit and he’ll just smile sheepishly whenever taejoon catches him and he’ll kiss his cheek like there’s still some left for you ?? TRACKS MUD INSIDE THE HOUSE: honESTly carter is pretty clean but i think so is tae ?? so they probably do it on accident and carter would clean up after himself obsessively if he noticed because he doesn’t want taejoon thinking he’s a total slob.TAKES THE KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY TO GO TO A BASEBALL GAME: taejoon, hands down. carter would want to but he really, really tries to be the responsible parent and not encourage bad things but he’d be so jealous if he finds out taejoon took sylvie to a game and he’d scold sylvie and tell her about the importance of school but then after she was asleep he’s lit poUT like the baby he is because he didn’t get to go with them and have fun. DOES CRAFTS AND LEAVES THEM HALF-FINISHED ON THE TABLE: taejoon probably finds all these cute crafts for them to do together and carter is all up for it, but the projects are probably meant to be like a long term theme so taejoon would want to take breaks but carter is like we CANT UNTIL ITS DONE ??? which leads to him being awake at 3AM arguing with a hot glue gun.BROKE THE TOASTER AND LIED ABOUT IT: carter would break it && totally use his child as a scapegoat. only to have her rat him out because he forgets that she can do that now.
