i really like the deliberate choices taeyeon and key made to show that their collab was just platonic. like the live performance with their choice to both be singing to the camera and not to each other. they could’ve done that, they were both recording together on the same day and in the same room (as shown by their cute promo video) but didn’t.
it's rly so extra of them like they rly don't have to do all that they're just like WE ARE BASICALLY SIBLINGS AND THE SONG IS US TALKING ABOUT BEING IN A SIMILAR SITUATION NOT ABOUT EACH OTHER over and over again
