Alright, so I’m messing a bit with religious history but I couldn’t put the idea down.
So, according to what I read; Solomon ended up having four children: Rehoboam (his eldest son), Tafath (eldest daughter), Basemath, (second daughter) and Menelik (youngest son).
Rehoboam is the son of Naamah and becomes King of Israel after Solomon’s death.
Tafath and Basemath aren’t mentioned much but they apparently marry two officials in Solomon’s court.
Menelik is the son of Makeda, the Queen of Sheba.
Yes, that Queen of Sheba. After his mother dies, Menelik becomes Emperor of Ethiopia and is known as the “King of Kings of Ethiopia”.
Now, the point of this is that while I was doing research I noticed that Rehoboam, Tafath and Basemath are all mentioned as being the children of Solomon numerous times but Menelik... Menelik is mentioned like...once.
So I had a thought: as per Fate history; Solomon gets tired of life and allows himself to die, leaving Goetia locked inside Solomon’s body. Goetia is of course pretty upset but he’s in Solomon’s body so no one knows that Solomon has died.
To them, he’s fine other then the fact that he has some new tattoos and red “beads” in his braid and he was pretty upset about something (which of course he can’t tell them about).
So the court treats Goetia as King because they think he’s Solomon. Life continues on and eventually the Queen of Sheba (Makeda) comes calling like usual. Whether she knows that Goetia isn’t Solomon or not I’m not sure, but they end up sleeping together and Makeda unknowingly gets pregnant.
She goes home to Ethiopia and has Menelik who genetically is Solomon’s son (as the body Goetia used to conceive him is Solomon’s with Solomon’s DNA) and yet he is the son of Goetia since Goetia was the one who conceived him with Makeda.
It might sound silly but just imagine a young man with tan skin, white or purple hair and kitty ears who is a extremely powerful mage/caster and tell me that isn’t a thrilling idea.
