48 HOURS A.E || TAIDEN

Tara had been living in hell for the last two days, terrified her every move was being watched. She had already noted that the common thread for all the photos was her, and that made her all the more paranoid. And who the hell was the she? Her best guess was Jaiden but… that didn’t make any sense? She knew about her and Schlatt kissing, and the kiss with Rose happened before Tara had even met Jaiden! Why would any of that matter?

She tried not to fixate on it, tried to listen to Schlatt and just pretend everything was normal but she couldn’t. She didn’t feel safe being alone anymore, she was scared of the texts she sent, scared to talk around any electronics, constantly looking over her shoulder. To say the least, she was spiraling. Maybe that’s how she ended up at Jaiden’s door, knocking gently. Maybe she needed a safe place, maybe she needed to get the hell out of Alpha. Either way, she was now standing in front of her door, anxiously knocking. She should have texted before showing up, should have warned her. But her phone was still in her room, locked in a drawer as if that would keep her safe somehow.

Even more modern AU Taiden headcanons because I'm obsessed with their relationship

Talon is always cold and Aiden is his natural heat pack

Aiden gets tan when he's in the sun for quite a while but Talon is the type of person who gets sunburned instantly. like, his skin has only two shades: paperwhite and red

Talon gets pretty clingy when he's sick (Aiden finds it adorable)

the first time Talon called him baby Aiden legit malfunctioned

at first Talon found it annoying that Aiden kept stealing his shirts, but now he finds it endearing

he especially likes it when Aiden steals his volleyball jersey because it has his last name on it and he likes seeing his last name on Aiden and no he would never admit that

Talon likes leaving love bites on Aiden, especially where people can see (he's the tiniest bit possessive)

he also has a, how Aiden says "almost unhealthy obsession with my hands"

Aiden loves forehead kisses, Talon kisses his temple every morning before he leaves for work

and cuddling! he likes having Talon close to him

whenever they have a fight (what doesn't happen often anymore these days thankfully) Aiden often ends up at Halea's and Maya's place. Maya would often call Talon like "come here and make up with your boyfriend, him and Halea are eating all my ice cream." and Talon usually comes over and apologizes

sometimes on weekends they listen to music while preparing breakfast together and more than once end up dancing around to the music

Talon makes playlists for Aiden. Aiden is obsessed with them

they love going to concerts or to the movies together

they still tease each other a lot, banter is one of their love languages

during their study sessions Talon would reward Aiden with kisses when he did something right. Aiden tried extra hard because of that

sometimes they talk to each other in French just for fun, because Talon is fluent and Aiden studied in Canada for a year and therefore knows it a bit too

Aiden says "I love you" first and Talon is absolutely baffled

the first time Talon said it first was when Aiden had that little breakdown in their final high school year because he was afraid everyone would leave him again

actually the first time Talon openly says that he loves Aiden isn't to Aiden himself, but to his father, when they have a fight and his father is making a comment about Aiden

they both don't necessarily need words to let the other know that they love them tho, they both have their own ways

Talon and Aiden are actually quite successful in calming the other down/cheering them up when things get tough, they both have their issues and insecurities and learned to deal with that, to be what the other needs right now

idk but I think they would like to shower together sometimes?

Aiden can cook and he loves cooking together with Talon, even though Talon can't really cook. but together it works. sometimes they're too lazy tho so they order take out, usually when they have a movie night

Aiden, being an early-riser, often likes to go on a walk / jogging in the morning and when he comes back he always makes coffee for his still sleeping boyfriend, sometimes he even buys him pastries

Aiden likes sitting on Talon's lap and Talon likes putting his arms around him and resting his chin on Aiden's head

when they share a bed they always end up tangled into each other or spooning, no matter in which position they fall asleep in

I could go on and on with more headcanons honestly

but this is getting too long again I should stop. yeah... love my boys. and I love their relationship.
