Me, asking my Fam member who's worked in a hospital since their 20s, now in their 70s, even if not specifically as a doctor but still in an important position: So OK say there's a doctor character who's on-call duty all night, who can come near/visit (where he's staying)?
Fam, obviously: If they're on-call they can't leave the patient if it's an emergency!
Fam: But if they're not in an emergency they can face-time or something?
Me, vaguely: Well, one of them is a Techie-like character, they could probably do that---
Fam, nodding: Then yeah face-timing might be ok
Me: Ok but could they go IN any room he was in maybe?
Fam: If it was a relative of the patient, sure
Me: They're not directly related, but for example
Me: One of them is Adopted, he only has his Mom & Dad shown more obviously, with no other known relatives, but they're not always shown in story during these moments.
Me: What if he put another (A.K.A: Taichi Yagami) as his close emergency contact?
Fam: Are they adult aged?
Me: Well by this point
Fam: Then yeah it's /probably/ (Maybe) ok
