@taioraweek 2024 - Day 7: Cosplay

Unfortunately, due to sickness and time constraints, I hadn't been able to provide more for Taiora week - but I had set my mind to letting these two dorks cosplay as Shinichi and Ran from Detective Conan MONTHS ago already. I've been through some serious DC binge sessions this year and my romantic butt couldn't not draw parallels between these characters and their relationships respectively. Granted, Taichi never turned back into a child permanently and lived with Sora and her dad to solve crimes on a daily basis, trying to keep his identity a secret from her... However, there is no denying that Taichi&Shinichi are massively loyal (and self-sacrificial) to and protective of Sora&Ran - who have to be incredibly patient with the guys, but, despite getting easily frustrated with them, will always be loyal to them in return. There is a connection that cannot be broken easily - and I can 100% imagine that they'd go for a cosplay like that!

Day 5: Stolen kiss / Beso robado

This is our gift to all Taiora fans. For those of us who are still waiting for that confession that never was, but that we felt in every glance, in every silence… in every scene that made us dream.

How can we explain what it feels like to hear his voice again? We close our eyes… and there he is again: Taichi, with that mixture of courage and clumsiness, searching for the words. And next to him, Sora, closer than they ever dared to say.

Endless thanks to @gerardo_meza23, the voice of Taichi Yagami in Latin Spanish, for lending his soul to this moment. Your voice not only accompanied us… it marked us. Today it once again touches that part of us that still believes in what could have been.

This video is for you, Taiora lovers. For those of us who never stop imagining that "I love you" that lingered in the air.

Action and reaction. For @taioraweek 2023 Day 7

Whether you interpretate it as purely platonic or potentially romantic, in my eyes in canon Taichi and Sora have some very interesting chemistry. In the series they act in certain ways to which most of the time a natural reaction ensues. They have these sparks between them not many other dynamics have in the Digi-verse, at least, not in the emotional and physical depth these two seem to share. And it all leads up to wonderful explosions when ignited in the right way.
