Time is a builder, a shared illusion that shapes our lives in different ways. It changes with us, with our experiences, with memories, and with everything we leave behind or dream of achieving. And, in a way, that also defines Mimato.

This Mimatoweek2026, we celebrate Mimi and Yamato, a couple who, for many, transcend time. Their stories invite us to delve into worlds filled with mythology, past lives, and emotions that span entire eras. From the seasons to movements like steampunk and cyberpunk, each theme represents a distinct way of understanding time and how it transforms people, stories, and art.

Literature, works of art, and various forms of creation allow us to travel to other worlds, other eras, and other possibilities. They allow us to imagine what might have been, what could be, and what remains even when everything changes. Because creating is also a way of stopping time, even if only for an instant.

And yet, there's something that unites this entire universe: the community. A community made up of artists, writers, and fans who love this ship and want to share their feelings through drawings, fanfiction, and all kinds of creative expression. Every contribution, no matter how small or large, is part of this shared journey.

We would also like to thank @akaiema allowing their beautiful artwork to be the official banner for our event.

Therefore, we want to express our deep gratitude to everyone who wants to participate in this Week, with contributions such as: art, stories/fics, journals, photographs, collages, vídeos, edits and more... your imagination is the limit.

I love Daiken and Sorato!

I have a Daiken fanfic, Public Eye, here!  It features our bois around age 19/20.  There’s also a Daiken scene in a mixed coupling oneshot, A Gentleman’s Wager.

Here’s a little blurb on why I like Sorato.  Here’s a sexy (but not explicit) Sorato drabble.  Here’s a cute drabble about Sora and Matt as married adults!

And here’s a list of some sexy scenes.  There’s an M rated Sorato scene and a Jyoumi scene, I think?

I think Daisuke and Ken understand one another to an almost unbelievable degree.  They’re very different, but they both seem to be active go-getters, so I think their lifestyles can mesh.  Daisuke can help Ken smile and remain hopeful, despite all the internal difficulties he faces.  Ken can help Daisuke remain grounded.  And, as a writer, their background naturally makes for intense moments (enemies to friends to eventual lovers, that’s some good stuff right there).

Day 5: Stolen kiss / Beso robado

This is our gift to all Taiora fans. For those of us who are still waiting for that confession that never was, but that we felt in every glance, in every silence… in every scene that made us dream.

How can we explain what it feels like to hear his voice again? We close our eyes… and there he is again: Taichi, with that mixture of courage and clumsiness, searching for the words. And next to him, Sora, closer than they ever dared to say.

Endless thanks to @gerardo_meza23, the voice of Taichi Yagami in Latin Spanish, for lending his soul to this moment. Your voice not only accompanied us… it marked us. Today it once again touches that part of us that still believes in what could have been.

This video is for you, Taiora lovers. For those of us who never stop imagining that "I love you" that lingered in the air.
