Drabble || Yasu the Matchmaker

Yasu frowned as he gazed upon his breakfast. He was hungry, but at the same time something was bothering him and he didn't feel like eating yet. A lot of things happened lately. Auntie Thav spent a lot more time on Concordia, ever since the breakup with uncle Zim. Yasu was sad about that. It meant Zim wouldn't drop by anymore and help him tinkering on his speeder. That used to be so much fun, yet now he would need to do it by himself. While it was still fun and he learned a lot from his mistakes, having someone around to do that with was more fun.

Auntie Thav also wasn't smiling so much anymore. Yasu didn't like seeing her that way and felt he had to do something. So when his father joined him for breakfast, the little Mandalorian decided to open his mouth. “Papa?”

Zo looked up from his tea. “What's the matter, little man?” He wanted to get ready to look after the animals, but if Yasu needed his attention that came first ofcourse.

“Can't you marry auntie Thav?”

The boy hadn't finished his sentence yet and Zo found himself nearly choking on his tea. Whatever he expected his son to ask him wasn't that. He grabbed a napkin to clean both his face, the mug and the table. “Where did that come from?”

Yasu shrugged. “Well, you do like auntie Thav, right? And she is no longer together with uncle Zim. Mom and you have not been together for a long time. Auntie Thav has worked with you for ages, she lives here a lot, she is teaching me as much about being Mandalorian as you and the clan thinks you are married anyway.”

Zo opened his mouth to respond, but no sound emerged, so he closed it again. The clan thought Thav and him were married? Did they think they had an open relationship or something? They'd seen Thav and Zim together plenty of times. What kind of gossip was going on in the clan?

Then again, Thav did live here on the estate and they had been working together for a long time already. It wasn’t a strange thought, despite the fact that there hadn’t been a wedding. Zo scratched his head and cleared his throat. “Of course I like auntie Thav. Why are you saying that?”

Yasu stared at his food, still not touching it. His legs dangled above the floor and he sat on his hands. “Well….” He threw a sneaky glance at his father. “Because I think auntie Thav would be good for you. You haven’t been with anyone since mom left.”

Zo opened his mouth to protest, but then he remembered he tried to keep his flings from his children. If it wasn’t serious they wouldn’t need to know.

“You haven’t been really happy, papa.” Yasu got off his chair and walked towards his father to give him a hug. “I know you try to hide it, but I can tell. I want you to be happy. And I want auntie Thav to be happy too. You could make each other happy.”

Without finishing his breakfast Yasu left the house. Zo was too dumbstruck to even chastise his son for not eating. Where Yasu was concerned part 1 of Operation: Mandalorian Marriage was a success. He made his father think about Thav. Now he just had to do the same thing for auntie Thav.

Kinktober Prompt 3

Prompt: Public Fandom: swtor Characters: Thavari Lok, Taizo Lok and @empire-at-war‘s Vic Greydon Warning: NSFW (to be safe)

“What’s stopping you? Go on, kiss.”

A big grin graced Thav’s features as she leaned back in the cantina booth and took a sip of her ale. She motioned at the two men in front of her. This was something she’d wanted to see for a while. Vic was drunk, Zo was tipsy so far.

Thav rested her feet upon the table and leaned back, tilting her head slightly. “I thought you’ve been dying to kiss him, Greydon. Do it, or are you too chicken to do it?”

“You don’t wanna taunt me, Lok girl.” Vic downed the remained of his ale and reached for his friend. The insufferable little girl was right though. He had been wanting to kiss Taizo for ages. At first he didn’t do it, because he had no idea if the other man even swung that way.  There was no reason not to do it now though.

Before Zo actually realized what was happening he found himself on Vic’s lap, straddling his thighs. His eyes widened when he felt Vic claim his mouth for a kiss. At first he struggled. They were in public, for crying out loud and here Vic was kissing him as if he wanted to tear his clothes off and fuck him right there on the couch.

In a cantina of all places!

Thav chuckled as she watched the scene unfold in front of her. It was only a matter of time for Zo to give in. She knew him by now.

Ah, there it was. She saw him relax considerable and tilt his head to give Vic some more space, as well as press himself against the bigger man. Was that a moan she heard? It had to be, it sounded like Zo’s voice.

When she caught Vic looking at her with a smug look on his face she chuckled. “That wasn’t so hard now, was it, you big oaf?”

swtor || A shoulder to lean on

Zo entered the back of one of the barns where he kept the varactyls. The noises coming from there were quite apparent, like someone was having a go at something. When he saw Thav punching the punching bag he attached to the ceiling he remained in the doorway, leaning against the frame.

He watched her for a while. “Hey blueberry, you're all fucked up, aren't you?”

Thav did not respond. She was completely focused upon her punches and the punching bag. Her left one was an especially dangerous one, Zo knew from experience. They sparred often enough during their years as hunting partners. He sighed and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Let's just grab our backpacks, prepare the Scrapheap and pick a difficult bounty for us to sink our teeth into and get out of here for a while.”

“Just let me punch this thing, Zo.” The force behind her punches increased, as well as the speed. All the hurt she was feeling was poured into the violence. When Thav arrived on Concordia she'd mostly been sad. Now she was frustrated and angry. Why hadn't he told her sooner that he felt coddled and that he no longer shared her interests? That was a stupid question. This was Zim after all, and she knew that he wouldn't have wanted to hurt her, that he would have kept it all bottled up inside until it exploded even more. If he'd just told her, perhaps they could have worked things out.

Thav bit her bottom lip as she threw another punch in. Since the talking didn't happen until all his feelings had started to fester, and he'd just had enough, she was backed into a corner with only one way out. It couldn't go on like that. So she did the only thing she could do. If she could no longer make him happy, then what was the point in staying?

She still friggin loved him, but love, apparently, was not enough.

Her punches became slower and lost their strength with each hit. Once again Thav bit her bottom lip and she let her head hang. Her shoulders slumped and shook as the tears started pouring down her cheeks.

Zo walked over to her and pulled her into his arms. Talking about feelings wasn't his strong suit, but the least he could do was be there for her and give her his shoulders to cry on.
