Ways to Reduce Your Carbon Foot Print to Reduce Climate Change
· Walk or ride a bicycle to places that are close by
· Turn off the lights when you leave the room
· Used energy efficient appliances
· Unplug appliances when not using them
· Recycle to reduce waste
· Reduce meat consumption
By making these changes to your home, you can significantly reduce the amount of carbon that you release into the atmosphere on a daily basis. Although it does not seem like much, reducing the carbon that is released into the atmosphere can add up and ultimately will lead to a significant decrease. By becoming more environmentally conscious in our homes, we can make a difference. Solving Climate Change is not up for scientists. We, as citizens of the global community, can take part in fighting Climate Change by reducing our carbon footprint in our own homes and everyday lives. If we make these changes in our lives, more people will start to notice and make the same changes and this will create a chain reaction. The more people that start reducing their carbon foot print, the less carbon emissions are emitted into our atmosphere that lead to Climate Change. By working together to reduce our carbon foot prints, we can stop Climate Change. Let us take matters into our own hands.
