Family Reunion - Sadistic!AU

From the moment he first came online - the Doctor said it was 'again', but how could it be when he had no memory of there being a before? - Shadow had known there was something wrong with him. Granted, that had only been a short time ago, but it didn't change the fact that he knew. 

It was in the Doctor's eyes as he patted his shoulder, in the way spoken language was complicated and hard to follow - he knew it wasn't supposed to be like that, that it hadn't always been this way, but Shadow didn't know how he knew - and it was in the terrifying blank space that was his memory of a time 'before'. There was a time before, the Doctor had said so... but he tried to search for any memory files and all he came up with was corrupted, fragmented data that made no sense.

Straining to find something had only brought to his mind a dim recollection of fire and pain, both things that Shadow instinctively knew were bad. Bad things were not to be touched, to be investigated or poked at, and so he had stopped trying to think about anything relating to the blackness of before.

A few minutes ago he had been given the location of what was apparently his room in the fortress, and orders to go there and rest. He had been told he had brothers who would want to see him, but Shadow was... afraid to meet up with them. What if they didn't like him?

(He wasn't sure he liked him, with how much trouble he was already having doing simple things.)

So here he is, trying to get to his rooms in the fortress without running into anyone, and given the number of 'brothers' that lived in this place, calling it a challenge to avoid them all was an understatement. Still, he seems to be doing alright for the moment, and there is a small amount of satisfaction to be found in the fact that he has managed to avoid detection so far, even as crippled as his systems are.

Star Man

Having done embarrassing Napalm Man at the ticket booth (and being intimidated by Charge Man, whom she was officially almost old enough to be screamed at by) she skipped over to Star Man with a grin, grabbing his hands and spinning with him (or trying to). “Have you ever rode your own ride?” She asked, referring to the teacups.

Elec Man

… Cool. However, her preference for a slicker Robot Master did bring the aggressive whisper: “Stuffy neeeeeeeerd.”

Crash Man

…Hmm. How best avoid getting mutilated by a handless time bomb of a Robot Master?

Her solution was to place a flower crown over his helmet, which would at least give him a calmer mindset- hopefully. While she was at it, she decided to mention, “I’d help you out with those boxes, but something tells me I’d need robot strength for half of them. I can take the smaller ones, though.”

Snake Man

… NOPE.

She would ask to pet one of the Search Snakes at the very least but she is not about to risk her life for the sake of cute sneks so NOPE. She does the smart thing and RUNS.

Autumn would have gone to find and confront Jazz's bully, but unfortunately Vex had figured this out. Due to this, she remained on her couch, arms crossed in a huff.

Snakeman, what are you doing?

The green DWN had recently been paired off with...Starman, of all people. Hm. Initially he didn't think of it too much, but then again, he could have fun with it...

...Especially after discovering that Star's boyfriend, Elecman, seemed to get angry when Snake was around Star. Or at least, when he was flirting with the other DWN, that is.

Snakeman was currently walking down the street with Starman. One of his arms was wrapped around the space 'bot's shoulder, and he looked down at him, grinning.

"You look rather nice today, Starman." He purred.

Star blinked, blushing a little as he smiled. "Oh...Thank you!~" He took it as a compliment and nothing more.

Snakeman slowly moved his hand from Star's shoulder down to his waist, purposefully walking by an area he knew Elecman was in so that the DLN would see.
