Was it enough money? I wonder if the results would be different if the payout was larger (maybe the study controls for that somehow?)
Yeah, they didn’t really try anything above $60 - I think because they wanted to have some policy implications and it’s hard to think of the policy implications of saying “people go to the gym if you pay them $5000 a month” because that’s not really something you could implement. I feel like that’s not enough money to change behaviour especially because going to the gym has really high sunk costs of e.g. learning how the equipment and overall user experience operates? Maybe using that $60 to give users access to a more intensive orientation session would have been helpful but that’s also difficult to test.

Complete with the white undies?
Yes! However the party was broken up before I could get changed into it. :( Sad, but this was the 10th party we held like this and it’s the first time cops showed up and shut it down (there were 200 people there and a line waiting to come in, which we think is why the police came, lesson learned). So impressive run. Guess I’ll have to save “risky business” for some other time. I’ll remember to post pictures when I do.

DONE AND DONE. they’ll be toothy asexual highstrung buddies (who sit in complete silence while playing video games in the same room -- that’s as social as they get).

How do you like Westworld so far?
I love the series, I’m watching it again to see how the twists from the end actually played out through the season. A lot of little things make it obvious what was really happening.
33) 34) 54) :)
33. something you want to learn Already answered. But I’d love to learn how to play an instrument.
34. most embarrassing moment Ummm...there are so many to choose from. I’m gonna go with being depressed because I was being forced out of a job, drinking too much, then going out and ending up faceplanting on the sidewalk, forgetting how to walk and having to be poured into a car to get home. I ended up with several large scrapes and scabs on my face and had to go to job interviews the following week.
54. something thats worrying me at the moment Money is always a worry. Also how slow work has been lately.

What's the angle, though? Like why are they stringing you along with this?
So - this is the staffing agency that placed me in the job I have now. I let them know I’d be interested in occasional weekend work. They set me up with a job back in May filling in for reception at this real estate agency. They approached me in September to see if I wanted to fill in again at the same real estate agency, just a different location - I said sure and waited for the details. It took several days and the staffing agency finally let me know that the real estate company had filled the position with a permanent person.
Cut to Tuesday when they emailed me again to see if I wanted to fill it at that location. I accepted and they said that they would send me the details. Nothing yet. I would not be surprised if they came back and said the position had fallen through.
My favorite cover of "Toxic" is from Nickel Creek. I think I have a couple more versions, as well, lol
