In the memorial of the International Mother’s Day, photographer Reza Deghati @rezaphotography shares his tribute and homage to the bravery of Afghan struggling mothers during the years of devastating war and conflicts in Afghanistan. “Today, I would like to pay tribute to all the Afghan women who, for decades, have mourned their children, their parents, their dead spouses to defend their people, their land, and more than anything, their freedom, like this mother who cried entire night, his only son dead while in action, in Takhar Province, almost 20 years ago. On April 30, two attacks in Afghanistan, the freedom to inform and the innocence of hope were targeted. Two terrorist attacks killed 10 journalists and 11 children and other victims. Today, we mourn those seeds of peace which are burnt by violence and hatred. May their soul rest in peace.” #picoftheday #photooftheday #photojournalism #reza #rezaphoto #rezadeghati #rezaphotography #rezaphotojournalist #webistan #عكاس#رضادقتى @thephotosociety #media #terrorisme #mort #femme #woman #intimité #Takhar, #Afghanistan, #everydayTakhar, #everydayAfghanistan, #everydayAsia, #everydayeveryWhere, #Instagram. Little kids stealing the show by performing Qataghani dance at a wedding party. Afghanistan is a multi-traditional country, containing both music and dance as an aspect of tradition and culture all across the country. The Qataghani dance is one of the nomerous traditional dances in Afghanistan which were born and originated in the Qataghan province of Afghanistan. Qataghan was once a populated province in northern Afghanistan which became defunct in the early 60s, and divided into the current #Baghlan, #Kunduz and #Takhar provinces. Qataghani is also a fast paced and joyous or Mast kind of music and dance. #Herat, #Afghanistan. For this New Classics Challenge, I used Takhar, African God of Justice and Vengeance. Specifically, this god, a Demi-God, is from Serer Religion. And that lazy, blackwashed Aragorn was the motivator. Jeez Africa has ALOT of Gods. And that's WITHOUT counting Egypt. If all the pantheons were compared, the African Pantheon would either have the biggest roster, or be tied with the Asian Pantheon.

Everybody in the Afghan national army already knows that the war is lost
