In the memorial of the International Mother’s Day, photographer Reza Deghati @rezaphotography shares his tribute and homage to the bravery of Afghan struggling mothers during the years of devastating war and conflicts in Afghanistan. “Today, I would like to pay tribute to all the Afghan women who, for decades, have mourned their children, their parents, their dead spouses to defend their people, their land, and more than anything, their freedom, like this mother who cried entire night, his only son dead while in action, in Takhar Province, almost 20 years ago. On April 30, two attacks in Afghanistan, the freedom to inform and the innocence of hope were targeted. Two terrorist attacks killed 10 journalists and 11 children and other victims. Today, we mourn those seeds of peace which are burnt by violence and hatred. May their soul rest in peace.” #picoftheday #photooftheday #photojournalism #reza #rezaphoto #rezadeghati #rezaphotography #rezaphotojournalist #webistan #عكاس#رضادقتى @thephotosociety #media #terrorisme #mort #femme #woman #intimité #Takhar, #Afghanistan, #everydayTakhar, #everydayAfghanistan, #everydayAsia, #everydayeveryWhere, #Instagram.
