My owl didn't turn out to be a happy owl like Tamara's (@willowing), who's lesson I took as inspiration for this painting, but it's taking flight, following my word / motto for the year . It also turned out nothing like I imagined and it took me a bit to figure out a way to turn it into a piece I liked. The middle phase was quite a mess, but I guess that's a good way to learn .
