So when @heavensgaze won a prize from my design contest and told me to surprise him and pick my favorite gardener, naturally I had to go with The Dreamer <3 It was and always will be one of my favorite characters in the comic, if not one of my favorites in any comic ever.

They are so beautifully written and his design is so whimsical, I love it and their character arc beyond words honestly <33

Artfight 2/2

Decided to use Artfight to learn HiPaint on my new tablet. Once I'm more comfortable with it I should be able to do art even when I'm away (50% of my life lolol)

Unfortunately I'm still slow, so I don't get all my revenges done. I got closer than I thought I would tbh, even if part 2 was submitted to AF as just sketches and finished after the cutoff for AF... c':

KACHOW!! This is my @heavensgaze oc!!! His name is Buzzing Cicada :3 I imagine that he's a wandering loner, but occasionally stays with groups of cats for however long they please. Most of the time these are month intervals, but when they found the Garden they decided to stay for a longer amount of time! I imagine him and Mulberry Wine getting along very well because they're relatively similar in personality (though Cicada is a bit more bouncy). The funnest dynamic I think would be between them and the Dreamer. Cicada is horribly unkempt (even keeping their fur messy on purpose for style) and I imagine that would get on the Dreamer's nerves a LOT. But yeah!! OC!!!
