I rarely take a break; being self-employed, and lucky enough to love what I do, doing something work related every day seems somehow ok. After last week though: working, getting sworn in as a citizen and co-chairing a fundraiser - by Friday, I was fucking done! Luckily, I had an awesome weekend in Santa Cruz 🙌 no work, good food, late mornings and too much alcohol ... so needed!! It’s always interesting how different photographers have a unique way of emphasizing a part of your personality. @dangoodmanphotos and I have had so much fun with the beach series this year, both moving beyond what is our usual m.o. what I love about this pic, is that it shows me curvier than I’ve been in a long time (hint: too much partying this summer 💃🏻😝). I was actually hesitant to do the shoot, as I knew I wasn’t in “fighting shape” (🙄🤦🏻‍♀️) but I decided to get the fuck over myself!!! If I want to share on this level.. on a public platform, I better have the freaking guts to show all aspects. .. yes... I call my own bullshit.. a lot.
