Before Islam and the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw), there were fathers and men burying their daughters alive. This was a common practice in the Arabia as they thought of them as a burden and shame. Even in Europe women were not even considered human until a very late period around the 15th century, if we check history we can see the clear truth.  I'm not a feminist, nor a follower of any of those groups, I purely believe in equality. I'm a follower of my beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and at his time after islam was established women were given right to own properties, wealth, have an occupation and many other rights.
