Taler Bora (Sugar Palm Fritters ) Taler bora is a very popular traditional sweet fritter of Bengal which we specially prepare on Janmashtami, i.e on the Birthday of Lord Sri Krishna. Almost every Bengali follow the same recipe with a little bit of variation. I learnt the process of making Taler Bora from my mother, however, this process belongs to my Dida. For enhancing the sweetness of this recipe few people add banana, but, I prefer to follow the traditional way of adding sugar cane jaggery (akher Gur) instead of normal sugar along with khoa kheer and shredded coconut. I use only ghee to fry the fritters. This recipe is mainly prepared on Janmashtami as the main Prasad in Bengal. Wish You All A Very Happy Janmashtami ❤️ . . #janmastami #bengalifestival #bengal #bengalifood #bengalifoodie #prasad #ritual #bengalisweets #sweets #fritters #palm #bengalirecipe #kolkatafood #kolkatafoodie #kolkatafoodbloggers #kolkatafoodlovers #talerbora #instafood #instacooking #instagram #homemade #foodphotography #mistimaan #homemadefood #homemaderecipes #thekolkatabuzz #bongconnection #traditional https://www.instagram.com/p/B1g6Kg4l1LQ/?igshid=v0etamr2qc9h
