Lænchā is made from flour and milk powder by frying the cylindrical dough pieces and dipping them into sugar syrup for a long time.
Ingredients: flour, khoya/ milk powder, sugar syrup.
Origin: Bardhaman district, West Bengal, India
The most famous region of Lyangcha is Shakigarh, the birthplace of this sweet. You can't miss længcha if you're talking of Bengali sweets.
