she watches.
it is not her place, she's told, to interfere. only if the balance of the scales dip too deeply to a side is she allowed to intervene in the affairs of those she observes. her role as watcher used to be more difficult when she was young. when her heart was soft and her view of the world still clean, the glass clear in the way those newly made saw everything around them-- without bias or prejudice.
then ramiel saw war. saw the battlefields littered with bodies too young to be gutted of their souls. but those were the lucky ones. it was after, when the forests and fields were burned to curse those living on the land with a slow, lingering death. it when she was forced to watch the innocent starve to bones. those were the hardest to bear.
but it is her place to watch, not intervene, when the scales are still balance.
the glass smears-- her view of the world clouded by what she's forced to witness. there are times when she's allowed to strike. to right the delicate symmetry between darkness and light, and when she does so it's with a heavy hand-- weighed by centuries of restraint. her heart is no longer soft. there is a layer of callouses over her old tenderness, and there is an almost numbing disinterest that carries in her every interaction in the world.
but now-- the scales are out of balance. it's one of those rare moments in the fabric of time that she's allowed to strike. and ramiel, when armed with righteousness, has never been one of the gentlest of grigori.

Zarina was born in pixie hollow. She always had an eye for adventure. She wanted to prove herself as the best dust keeper fairy around.
Still even the other dust collector fairies were hesitant around her, arning her not to tamper with blue pixie dust. Zarina tried her best to not tamper with it but she did.
Her experiments started small, making a squirrel’s fur fluffier or trying to give herself some extra speed.But her experiments went a bit too far and she was banished from pixie hollow. But not before taking all the blue, pink, and golden pixie dust she could find
Angry and confused she opted to join a young James Hook, someone she believed appreciated her talents.
She assisted in raids within neverland and pixie hollow, her ideas were revenge for those who hurt her. James appreciated her like no other thats why she stayed
But she was finally talked out of her own power trip by tinkerbell and the others. Finally seeing the error of her ways and that James was in fact using her.
Zarina came back home and became the first dust keeper alchemist, showing her abilities and how to make use of pixie dust

morgana had a simple life when she was younger, just her and her mother. but that life was cut short when a stranger barged into their home and killed her mother, and morgana had only narrowly escape death herself.
she was found by a witch who took her in and even taught her how to harness her craft. while grateful at first, some of the teachings never quite felt right. she found out later that the witch had been teaching her dark magic. once she was old enough, she took off with the promise of never practicing their teachings.
as a way to lead a better life, she decided to learn medicine from a healer. morgana eventually became a pretty prominent healer herself and started serving as the royal healer when the ‘false king’ was still camelot’s ruler.
despite her better judgements, morgana did, in fact, get caught up in a secret affair with the false king. she was almost certain that she was starting to love the king when they ushered arthur to the throne and ousted him in the process.
morgana stayed loyal to the royalty of camelot, partly because she wanted to hold on to the stability she had from her job, but also because she thought arthur deserved a chance to prove himself to be the “true ruler” of the kingdom. (spoiler alert: she isn’t too impressed so far).
neither of them know this yet but morgana is arthur’s paternal half-sister, so technically speaking, she’s also a pendragon.

the witch from her past – aka the reason why she learns a lot of dark magic. morgana definitely tries to leave that life behind and has no interest in seeking them out, though i think it would be interesting to have them cross paths again every once in a while.
someone who taught her healing – she convinced them to teach her healing and morgana is definitely grateful to be able to learn a lot from them. i imagine they kept in touch and are still fairly close.
bad influence(s) – morgana is only starting to think arthur isn’t up for the responsibility that comes with being camelot’s ruler, but I want to make this skepticism grow & eventually becomes the reason why she wanted to overthrow arthur. in the meantime, it’d be neat for someone to kind of fuel this desire slowly
a familiar – morgana probably won’t be too happy with bonding with someone and having to share thoughts with her familiar, since she’s a pretty private person, but i think this could be pretty interesting.

I. THE MOST STOIC OF THE THREE
young, tall - a silent pillar to support his two rowdy brothers. he would do anything for them, from covering up zeus’ cheating to angry girlfriends to throwing rhea off of poseidon’s troublesome trail. of course, it is because they have seen him at his worst, have and would do the same. he is the eldest and so he acts that way, comfortably in the shadows of zeus’ spotlight. he’s private and doesn’t talk much; listens first and asks questions second. he is less a god and more a silent knight. it is this disposition that results in him swallowing feelings down until it burns and screams inside his stomach.
II. WAR CHANGES A MAN
he wears scars and bruises like they are the latest fashion. skin that runs hot heals quickly on a god’s body - but titan’s blood spattered on arms enveloped in blue flames seem to never disappear. he gets to know death quite well on the battlefield; as if it is the fates who have already dictated his future as king of the underworld.
III. LOTS ARE DRAWN
hades is not initially happy about the Underworld. it is only with zeus’ comforting words that all men eventually fall to their knees for him that he begrudgingly assumes the responsibility of the GOD OF THE DEAD. here, he realizes he is in over his head. in olympus, death is nonexistent among gluttonous gods who laugh at mortality. but here, is where the sufferings of mortality are shoved down his throat.
the first centuries are a blur, with no one but a whimpering, three-headed guardian to soothe the pain in his soul. the underworld, he realizes, is a living entity that feeds off the souls that enter its mouth. its tendrils sink sharp claws into a tender heart until there is nothing but cold iron in its wake. there is no sympathy when dealing with the dead. there is no empathy.
only fairness.
only balance.
only justice.
his name becomes only a whisper upon olympians’ tongues. they fear it so much they give him a new one: Pluto. they do not dare attract hades or death himself at their doorstep. when giving sacrifices, they turn their faces away. he is both feared and loathed, for no one is in a hurry to meet the cruel, unyielding face at the end of their life.
IV. PERSEPHONE, OH PERSEPHONE
he is an icy, bitter king when he meets the love of his life in a field of flora and fauna. the initial sight of her is enough to breathe life in an immortal, walking corpse. she is the epitome of life, and for the first time in a millennia, hades finds a reason to live. it is her sunshine that finally makes his long since jaded self crack. she is lost in his charm, just as he is lost in hers. persephone makes flowers bloom in places that have long since been dead to mother nature. the start of hades’ downfall begins with the juice of plump, pomegranate seeds running down her lowered lip as their promise of forever is sealed with a kiss. to only have less than half a year with his wife, however, does little to help the strain that hades already feels as the king of the underworld. time will only tell if their love for each other will prevail all odds.

he relishes in the reputation he holds - the one that scares mortals and the like. there is little that mortals know of him, and only recently has hades begun to open his realm up even to his family within olympus. he has retired mostly from being the violent king he once was, but his sense of justice and fairness prevails. he does not get joy out of turning away those who beg for their dead loved ones to be revived. but even through a beggar’s tears, hades remains steadfast and unyielding in his main rule: no soul is allowed to leave the underworld, and there are to be no cheaters of death.

keep your friends close, but your family closer-- a lesson prometheus learned in the aftermath of his betrayals. he'd assumed forgiveness was a leisure afforded to the cousin of kings and gods. he'd aided zeus and his siblings against his own family, after all. had helped turn the tides against the titans despite being one himself. but in his heart of hearts, while prometheus is a trickster, he also is a benevolent god. he has many faults but never greed when it comes to the humans, and he tricks zeus into leaving the best sacrificial parts for them, abandoning bones and fat to the king of the gods.
vanity is his downfall.
the scale zeus weighs prometheus’ worth upon leans more heavily on transgressions than it does strengths. he'd pricked at zeus' pride. outsmarted the king of the gods, and zeus punishes the humans instead of him and hides fire from them in retribution.
prometheus steals it. gifts the warmth of hearth to the mortals and for this, his second betrayal, prometheus is sentenced to eternal suffering. for a titan his age-- days are like minutes. endless little moments of his liver pierced by the beak of an eagle, gutted out of him and he thinks part of him is half-mad in the aftermath. he sees irony in being rescued by a half-human with the blood of zeus. now, he continues to serve his cousins after being freed. zeus chooses to forget his own transgressions against prometheus, despite collecting and punishing the titan so heavily for his own mistakes.
