If a character wakes up in a new place with different clothes on, would they notice the clothes or the place first?

I would say they would notice the place first since when people are in potential danger they tend to assess their surroundings for threats before focusing on themselves or anything else. But the time in between realizing their new surroundings and their new clothes would be very short.

My favorite parent-child relationship: Gotta love Barbara and Jim. It's so imperfect but they're both trying so hard.

My favorite sibling relationship: Douxie & Nari (@nikibogwater's fault), otherwise Claire & Notenrique

My favorite family relationship (other): Douxie & Merlin. Soooo much conflict. Soooo many misunderstandings. Soooo much love between them.

My favorite friendship between two people: Douxie & Claire, Jim & Aja (do NOT make me decide)

My favorite friendship between a group: The Wizards constellation (Douxie, Claire, Archie, Steve, Jim). They're so perfectly chaotic. They never work as a team pffft

My favorite mentorship: Morgana and Claire. It was an involuntary mentorship for Claire to learn how to shield herself against the sorceress, nevertheless it prompted her to learn so much

My favorite rivalry: Strickler & Jim. Nothing tops the dining room fight. That one was legendary *whisking intensifies* (A close second is Jim & Nomura though)

My favorite hatred/antipathy: Strickler & Angor Rot. Idk there's just so much subtext between them. Strickler is afraid of Angor. Angor doesn't drink Coffee like the caffeine addict changeling teacher lol. Angor is hard to read. He's also trapped like a wild animal and entirely unpredictable. I hate how Strickler blackmails him with the Inferna Copula. Still, it's a great villains' story.

My favorite potential relationship between characters who never talk in canon: Eli & Merlin. JUST IMAGINE

Merlin for your headcanons?

Headcanon A: realistic

Eventually he got so good at predicting when Douxie would complain “But Master!” that he would use this as a pause to take a breath.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

He burned off his hair when he was rather young (too young for male pattern balding to set in yet) and it never grew back. Thus, he started wearing the metal hat on top to cover this up.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Merlin tried his hardest to avoid getting attached to Douxie, partially because he’s emotionally constipated, and partially because he was afraid Arthur or a knight might still try to have Douxie killed.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

He cut off Morgana’s hand in a fight after he discovered that she was the one behind the creation of changelings. (This requires a revised timeline of Wizards)
