Wow, I have been so uncomfortable about that post that's been going around where everyone has been joking about the little boy on the potty chair designed for children who are handicapped. I was so happy to see your post, chiding away at all the assholes ignorant of the chair's usage (or who are just plain assholes). So thank you!

You are welcome. I’m sorry that it needed doing, but I refuse to accept discrimination on anyone, really. 

I have two disabled children. I get a catalog that has that potty chair in it in my mailbox. It hits a little too close to home that people think that making fun of something that helps so many disabled children is an okay thing. And whomever it was that asked why the child was wearing clothing while sitting in it… SERIOUSLY?! You think that they could take a picture of a child without pants sitting on it? That what we call illegal. 

It disheartens me that every day I see posting for anti-discrimination on this, that, or the other thing and then someone turns around and makes fun of children that are so disabled they cannot sit on a toilet properly themselves. They didn’t choose to be disabled any more than one chooses what skin color they were born with or whom they love. It’s fucked.
