Maharshi:

Seja qual for o estado em que se esteja, as percepções participam desse estado.

A explicação é que no estado de vigília ( jagrat ) o corpo denso percebe nomes e formas grosseiras; no estado de sonho ( swapna ) o corpo mental percebe as criações mentais nas suas múltiplas formas e nomes; no sono profundo e sem sonhos ( sushupti ), tendo sido perdida a identificação com o corpo, não há percepções;

Da mesma forma, no estado Transcendental, a identidade com Brahman coloca o homem em harmonia com tudo, e não há nada em separado do seu Ser.
