“Why are you here?” He coughs in a sickly way, clothes half-torn and stitch marks up his back. (Let’s not get too into detail about that because of last time-) The lad forces himself up onto a knee, at least-- the ground is an unsightly place for him to be. And seeing Dark’s figure looming over him wasn’t exactly what he’d call a pleasant experience for him.

He feels a sharp pain in his side, and clutches it, eyes burning hot. Still he remains on his knee, glancing away, gritting his teeth and seeming distracted. “Ergh, who cares. That unsightly woman... that bitch...”
