Slinky dog being Andy’s dad’s toy but like…what if he looked a little more like those vintage slinky dogs…maybe he’s a special edition with long leather ears…

While lore on this is not concrete yet (writing a timeline n stuff for later) I like to think he’s just like…old southern folk. He hates the snow, he adores the heat, he also hates the heat (((Texas)))

ALSO by 1995 he looks different bc he got vandalized by Oswald’s (Andy’s dad) little cousins. They painted over Slinks small eyes to make bigger ones and they kinda just stuck bc Woody was unable to get the paint off easily. (HEAVY acrylic sucks when you’re made of vinyl and plastic from 1956) ((they also stole his green bow/ribbon))
