In the most recent Talking Dads, Anthony revealed that all disabled people who need and use elevators, AKA up-down rooms, know about them and keep them a secret.
In case any daddies fans w/o the patreon wanted to know the reasoning behind Hermie’s death I’ve got the gist what they said here:
Hermie felt like a worse version of Paeden to Anthony, and since they forgot about him so much and he doesn’t have a significant part in the story beyond what they played out it felt like the time. It also isn’t going to be brushed over in the story. Matt pointed out in a story about/involving violence sometimes characters do have to die to maintain any sort of feeling of a threat towards the main characters.
