Thinking about characters and headcanons and futures and junk while working on challenge stuff:

Elu prolly ends up going into some kind of police-work. Still very heavily SAR involved (don’t think he ould give it up if even if he wanted) but he would enjoy some level of peace-keeping IDK. If not this, I could also heavily see him sticking solely with SAR and training new recruits, passing out assignments, etcetc. Professional ghost-man, as all SAR members seem to end up regardless of actual profession. ((Somewhere, Estelle: /SNARK/ Told you so.))

Njeri owns a little garden/plant reserve of some kind in a large green-house. Beur begrudgingly helps with it’s upkeep, and Nisus (now a Golurk) helps with the terraforming. After growing up a bit, she does find a bit of purpose and starts to pursue a life of activism and putting her big ol’ strategical brain to use. Could see her looking into politics at some point.

Sable’s still a slime-ball, but a slightly richer slime-ball. Maybe takes a page from Aibuk’s book and tries out ‘radio persona’ or some sort of pop-culture figure. Could even see her doing a show as a triad with Arya and Aib where they joke and poke fun at the system and each other’s hair. If not this, her bar’s prolly gotten as big as is possible - very big party spot, well known for a+ booze and god knows what else. Constantly evadin the cops, offering favors in exchange for favors, exchanging information. Seediest of the seedy //WONKS.

What was Elu the Dragoon's homelife like?

Different and similar in a few different ways.

His story and homelife in this AU are more similar to his canonical story. For the most part he lead a normal(ish) life, his den under the leadership of his adoptive mother (called a ‘matron’). As a child he spent the majority of his time with Lethe (her mate and ‘court jester’ as it were), who taught him to hunt and fight. The latter of his years were spend with the matron, refining the rough edges that he’d unintentionally picked up from the former.

Home-life was….pretty tense. Normal as it seemed to him, everything was an act, everything an occasion, etc. He never really has time to relax, and devotes his entirety to his training/work. He doesn’t necessarily feel indebted to either of he leaders of his den, but it’s the only life he really knows.

SO! I know I am still technically on hiatus, but it seems as of recently I will be taking a bit more of an intensive one...

Next weekend, I am moving! *u* And it is undoubtedly a good thing. Will be spending the next week packing and then will be silent until we can get some internet up in our apartment ;v; Will still be on mobile from time to time, but will be more or less quiet until then on here...for those of you who don’t know me super well, this has been something in the coming for a very long time and I’m just dlkfja;sdlkfjs so happy it’s finally happening //sobs into hands
