I've been a busy girl this weekend!

Friday night I went bowling and then for a cocktail with my nursery workmates. We look happy in the first picture but honestly it was a really awkward night 🤣🤣 I came home feeling really flat afterwards which was a shame but nevermind. Before I went home I called up my pal Claudia and I ended up standing outside the cocktail bar by myself for 30 mins telling her all about it 😂 (I should have just gone back in the bar and had another drink in that time 🤣) then she asked what I was doing in the morning so...

PICTURE 2! Claudia and I went for a walk along the beach, and we got so into it that I extended our route 😂 We eventually looped back round to the high street and Claudia wanted to go in Superdrug. And we were looking at the makeup together and omg it made me feel like a teenager again looking at makeup with your mates on a Saturday 😂 I then took Claudia to my favourite cafe that I always take my friends to whenever they come visit me. It's just really pretty and has a nice chilled out vibe. I got a spicy cauliflower pie with new potatoes and veg 😊 We then walked back down to the beach and sat and talked even more. Somehow we never run out of things to talk about 😆

Then the last two pictures were at my half sister Natalie's 40th birthday party. She's the dark haired one dressed like a disco ball. Also featured in the picture is my sister Kay, my niece and my mummy. Again it was another really weird night 🤣 I blame it TOTALLY on the weird small town Nats live in (we have the same dad, but she lives in Essex where her mum and her mum's family all live). Basically everyone in that town knows everyone. Nat's friend Sophie sat with us and she's honestly the only normal one 😂 Kay and I were laughing at how everyone just gave us dirty looks to begin with and then when we were leaving they were all smiles and so friendly?!?! Everyone just sat at their tables too looking miserable even though there was a band on (and they were pretty good actually). Me, Kay, mum and Nats were the only people dancing 🤣 Also loved taking the piss out of my 16 year old nephew. Thinks he's such a hardman drinking 😂😂 Normally he doesn't let me hug him but he did last night only because "I've had a drink ain't I". I live to embarrass him 😂

Took these pics on my way to the swimming pool at 9.30am this morning loving the feeling of how I always feel like I'm on holiday in my hometown 😆

I've not been swimming all week and feel kinda guilty even though it was pms for me. It's stupid because I KNOW my own body and I know how fatigued I get during pms and that forcing myself to go swimming when I have no energy really is such a struggle. I'm trying to be more in tune with what my body is telling me but I still feel guilty anyway 😅 Like today I woke up feeling fresh and energetic but I still did a shorter swim and I also felt like my limbs felt heavier than normal, so I just went at a gentle pace.

My meal prepping has been going well on a Sunday night as well! Tonight I plan to make Thai green curry again except today I have some vegan chicken to throw in it, whereas last week it was completely vegetable based. I had curry paste in a jar and only used half of it last Sunday and I didn't want to waste it so I'm having it again 😂 LUCKY I LOVE THAI GREEN CURRY ISN'T IT.
