But... is that a good thing for Brienne? “She *believes* she will be safe because Jaime is an honorable man. What if their scene in Riverrun was paving the way for heartbreak? What if the Dragonpit is the time when Brienne has “to fight for Sansa’s kin, to fight Jaime” as she foretold? I hope I’m not a prophet of doom but what if it’s valar morghulis time for Brienne? What if Jaime, in one last act of defending Cersei, is forced to kill Brienne? What if that’s the reason his heart breaks and he decides to follow Jon to the north? Oh geez I hope I’m wrong. I want that OT3 and I want it taking place in Winterfell RIGHT NAO.)
