#TALKINGTOMYFUTURESELF • Uncertainty is a circumstance, not a feeling, and will always be present in our life. And realising that, the only way is to create our own self-certainty. When we see uncertainty as darkness, and we have the courage to enter it without resistance and fear, but with curiosity and belief, that with every step and with every action I take with tools and knowledge I have right now, the path will be lighten up in front of me. That every decision I make, will be the right one and will give me the next direction. Realising that the light is within me, it just requires courage, faith, and action. No matter how dark, I can figure out the way, if I trust in the process and the more I believe in myself, the lighter the path will be and the easier it will be to navigate the darkness. What we are now choosing to believe and think and say will create the next moment and the next day and the next month and the next year. What we currently believe is based on our past. Our beliefs create our results. So, if we do nothing, our past beliefs will create our results. We will simply keep creating the limitations of our past and confirm that we are limited. If we want to create a different future, we have to create something that doesn’t exist in our past. We have to create a new belief to create a new result in our future. It requires us to believe something we have never believed before. We live in an ever-expanding, unlimited Universe. The possibilities available to us are far beyond what our human minds can imagine. The only thing that ever limits us is our thinking. We waste our thoughts thinking of limitations. Every thought we think is creating our future. The past has no power over us. #asktherightquestions Decisions are easy to make. But then I have to follow through on it. The follow-through is hard because it feels uncomfortable in the moment. Our 🧠 wants to escape discomfort because this is what it does to keep us safe. And we have taught and supported it by doing it with ‘buffering’ = escaping the discomfort = emotions we don’t want to feel in the moment. If I want to create something new in my life, and something new is always unfamiliar and uncomfortable, I need to prepare ahead of time that I probably will not want to do that and I commit to doing it anyway. Not resisting the discomfort/restlessness/irritation/urge (what you resist persists), BUT be with it/feel it, and do it anyway. I need to be clear on WHY I am willing to move towards discomfort. Why is this journey worth it? What is the purpose behind the commitment that would be compelling enough for me? Why do I want to be better at feeling discomfort? Discomfort will always be part of my journey.
