MEASURING IMPACT.

The brief was to design a visual communication tool for an L5 exhibition. Now that the Walk In My Shoes exhibition is complete, it’s time for me to measure the impact of my piece with the audience. The best way to do this in my opinion is to ask directly, so I asked people when looking at my work before telling them that it was mine to get an honest opinion. Below are the opinions/thoughts that I collected throughout the duration of the exhibition.  Jacob 20,  I like the melancholy that is represented, the bright colours and the train tickets, show that someone has been going on a journey, (after trying to figure out to no avail Jacob was desperate to know what locations the train tickets were to/from, Birmingham>Leicester). The contrast in the beauty of the high as well as the pain of the come down was particularly good,  trying to figure out what different aspects of the layers were was interesting.  Ash,18,  The illustration itself was stunning and to be honest I’m never really in to pretentious art things because I just don’t get them but the bright orange and the beautiful drawing just caught me. I like that the message is clear to see and that you don’t have to go through some long ridiculous explanation to get it. As someone who identifies as genderfluid, I love so much that you can neccesarily tell if the person depicted is male or female. Speaking as someone who has been in the back of ambulance vans because of friends being too high on drugs I’m so glad that’s being addressed and I like the approach you’ve taken it. You should definitely submit it to FRANK because I genuinely thought it was one of their posters.

Not everyone that listens to edm music

Take drugs. It's so good that you can actually enjoy it sober. Trust me, I've done it half the time cause I don't like drinking. If anything you're able to enjoy it more cause you're aware. On that note, it really annoys me when someone takes drugs and they can't handle it. It's like "mate, sort yourself out. You're looking more than ratchet right now". Like it really annoys me cause they're all over the place and just look like an absolute dick. Just don't do it if you can't handle it. You ain't looking cool for anyone
