You should kiss the-economics-of-death too while you're kissing Talons, they're a good Talon
Kiss Kiss || Not Accepting
// We are getting close now boys! So close! Only like two more left! Alright so another Talon I’ve never met. However, this one did have lots of fancy information, so I think I have a decent idea. Hopefully. I think. Anyway, @the-economics-of-death borrowing your cute stabby boy for the next however many words I write. Is a good Talon btw Nonie. I enjoyed the read. Someone knows my fondness for well explored muses.
What they had between them was odd at best. From the firstmeeting, were Lux had noticed something wasn’t quite right with him. His subservientway of speaking but lack of body language that indicate the respect his words wereinsinuating. It had left her off kilter back then, when she hadn’t understoodthe correct reactions to such things. She’d gone through many steps with him,from polite distance, to submissive herself.
Whatever she’d done it’d worked, with a lot of effort, time,and energy on her part he’d slowly, so painfully slowly, opened up to her. Atleast enough that she could get close, that they could talk, that he seemed torealize that her kindness was genuine. That when she brought him things she didit not because she wanted anything from him. Though that had been an obstacle.The first gift he’d very nearly not accepted, and she’d had to explain in greatdetail that he didn’t owe her anything for it.
Once they’d passed the language barrier, he’d been a divineconversationalist. He was smart, and very perceptive something she adored. She’dintroduced him to people watching for fun, that had been an experience. Perhapsthe best thing was that they could talk for hours, about magic theory, history,whatever, and conversation seemed to flow naturally. The silences werecompanionable and being able to just sit and enjoy each other’s company was odd.
Touch had been an interesting barrier, one that Lux hadtaken careful steps with him about. Starting out very slow, very careful, butencouraging, she wanted him to be comfortable with her. She got the feeling alot of the touch he’d had in his life wasn’t gentle. Violent touch seemed to bewhat he knew best, and it broke her heart in ways.
The first time she’d ever punched someone in sheer anger hadbeen after she’d caught on to how the eldest Du Couteau treated Talon. She’dbroken Katarina’s nose and the fight that had ensued had left both bloody butKatarina noticeably more scared. Magic had a way of burning like nothing elsein this world.
She was dealing with the repercussions of that action now,standing in the middle of a river focusing mostly on the Water element becauseit’s possibly the calmest one she has. She’d properly blown her cover and wouldhave to take steps to fix the problems she’d caused but it had been so worthit.
When Talon approached her she’d nearly flung herself at himpulling him into a hug.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make things harder on you.”He’d accepted her flinging easily and shaken his head. Sometimes she was such asilly thing, but he allowed her to cling to him and sob and apologize like heknew she needed. He was content to stand there and let her, his cheek restingagainst her head. Though he was hardly taller than her, just enough toaccomplish such a task.
“Come with me, let me protect you and take you from here.You deserve so much better Talon, let me give you your freedom.” Her words werea rushed mess, but she’d meant them. Lux would never get the sort of freedom hecould have, bound to country and loyalties to things other than herself. Hecould be free, he could be better, he didn’t have to be here and if that meantshe had to bring down house Du Couteau to make it happen then she would do thatfor him.
Emotions were too high, much to high and she knew better butit felt right, the kiss she’d placed to his lips. She’d accept his anger later,or shock, or whatever he had to offer, right now she just wanted this. Damn herand her affections for a silly Noxian boy.
