@sharan.parimal has been training with me for few months now on his getting fit plan. His goal was to lose lot of weight and get lean. Like always we decided on a meal plan and started working on the basics. As we started training, he started gaining strength and is slowly getting into shape. Here in this video you see him repping 150kgs for 3 reps ( his all time best for 3 reps) with no support. No #chalk , no #wraps and no #belt. A completely raw lift. I am not only proud of his progress in terms of fat loss, but extremely happy about his strength gains..... Why am i posting this today? whats the take home message? 1. Never aim at weight loss but try to lose fat and get in shape. Sharan could have lost tonnes of weight in no time, but he cose to lose fat .. So as a result he is #stronger, #faster and is respected in the gym than those running hour in the treadmill chasing weight and not appearing strong. 2. Workouts should always make you feel happy. And you should look forward for the next day of workout. For sharan, his strength gain was the key. The hardcore workouts motivate him more than functional type of training. So we go all out on the strength moves.
