You Won’t Type Your Wi-Fi Password into the Tamagotchi Uni

Were you worried about how long it was going to take you to type in your Wi-Fi network password into the new Tamagotchi Uni? You’re not alone. Typing on a Tamagotchi can be difficult and sometimes frustrating, luckily data entry is limited on the device. When we heard about the Tamagotchi Uni connecting to Wi-Fi we were worried about how long it would take us to enter in our Wi-Fi network password, but it seems that Bandai has solved this.

Shigezo on Twitter was able to attend the 2023 Tokyo Toy Show and presumably learned more about the Tamagotchi Uni from the staff. Schigezo writes in a recent tweet that the new Tamagotchi Uni features a mechanism that allows you to enter the Wi-Fi network password from your smart phone. The Tamagotchi Uni will display a QR code which you will scan with your smartphone, you’ll be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi network password, and then the smartphone will communicate back with the Tamagotchi Uni so that you’re connected effortlessly!

How awesome is that? A sigh of relief! It really does look like Bandai has this all thought out, and we’re excited to see that QR codes will still be featured on the Tamagotchi Uni, should we still call them Tama Codes?

Bandai Namco US Will Still Support Tamagotchi Pix Weekly Missions

Although the Tamagotchi Uni is getting all of the marketing attention, Bandai Namco US is still going to run the weekly Tamagotchi Pix missions. At the Tamagotchi Uni launch party in New York City back in June, we asked Tara Badie, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Senior Director Brand Strategy what the launch means for the Tamagotchi Pix.

Tara informed us that although the attention and focus of the marketing team will be on the Tamagotchi Uni, the Tamagotchi Pix weekly missions that are updated each and every week on the official Tamagotchi website will still be supported.

No insight on how long they will be supported, but they will continue to be supported and as we noticed, they’re the same missions from the year prior. We appreciate Bandai Namco US keep the weekly missions active for the Tamagotchi Pix caretakers!

Tamagotchi Pix Weekly Mission: Vacation Room

Did someone say vacation? Perfect timing! Bandai has just updated the weekly mission on the official Tamagotchi website for the Tamagotchi Pix. Head over to the official Tamagotchi website and check out this weeks mission.

This time the mission has been updated for July to the Puzzle game. Slide the pieces into the right order to put the picture on the right displayed together correct and you’ll score a Tama Code. Scan that Tama Code with your Tamagotchi Pix to get the Vacation Room!

Tamagotchi Pix Weekly Mission: Sunny Sunglasses

Just in time for summer! The new weekly mission this week gives you the chance to win sunny sunglasses, which are the perfect summer accessory. Head over to the Tamagotchi website and check out the Tamagotchi Pix mission for this week. The same as lasts, you’ll slide the pieces of the puzzle until you get them in the right spot. Once the puzzle is put together correctly, you’ll earn a Tama Code. Scan that Tama Code with your Tamagotchi Pix to get the Sunny Sunglasses!

Head over to the official Tamagotchi website and check out the Pix Missions page. From there you’ll nee to play the matching game by matching each Tamagotchi character together by flipping the cards. Once you score the perfect match you’ll get your hands on a Tama Code. Scan that Tama Code with your Tamagotchi Pix to get the Towel Room!

This weeks mission will give you a sweet treat to cool you down in the summer heat. Head over to the official Tamagotchi website and check out the Pix Missions page. From there you’ll slide the pieces of the puzzle together to match the image provided, which has been the mission for July.

Once you put the pieces in the right place you’ll score a Tama Code. Scan that Tama Code with your Tamagotchi Pix to get your hands on the Exotic Sundae!

Tamagotchi Pix: How to Get Festive for Easter

Easter is almost here, so it’s time to get in the spirit! If you have the new Tamagotchi Pix then we have some recommendations to help you get into the spirit to enjoy this time of year. It’s time to decorate your Tamagotchi Pix for Easter and accessorize!

You’ve got to have a spring themed wallpaper first, and the green wallpaper does just that. The wallpaper features beautiful hills covered in green grass with a three, the sun, and butteries. This is totally the wallpaper to see that spring has sprung!

Next, you need some Easter furniture to put in your Tamagotchi’s living space. The first piece of furniture we recommend is the Easter Basket! The basket features flower, eggs, and an Easter bunny with a pink ribbon at the top. Adorable!

The second piece of furniture we would recommend is the Egg Painting! What better way to show off your Tamagotchi’s artistic skills than an egg painting on an easel? Love it!

Third, we recommend the Egg Sofa. This features three eggs in a basket that will rest on the floor and provide enough room for you to sit in! Just be sure not to roll over and crack an egg!

Once you’ve got he right wallpaper and furniture, you’re going to want to play! The Easter Egg item is perfect for that. You will be able to see the adorable animation when you play with this item. You’re in for a surprise if you haven’t already!

Alright, now you’ll want some accessories to make your Tamagotchi super Easter adorable! The first accessory we would recommend are the Bunny Ears. Your Tamagotchi will be adorable bouncing around with these on!

Next accessory we recommend for Easter is the Eggshell Hat, which is a cracked egg shell that has been dyed with different colors and shapes and has that cracked egg look at the bottom. This is a cute hat that provides some color!

Lastly, the Shell Hat! If you don’t want to hide too much of your Tamagotchi’s head, then try this one! The Shell Hat is a bit smaller and learns toward the right, with an adorable Tamagotchi face on it. This hat is so cute!

A new weekly mission for a new month! The Tamagotchi Pix Weekly Mission is new and ready for you. Head over to the official Tamagotchi website and check out this weeks mission. For the month of March we’ll be unscrambling three words based on the spring picture provided.

The picture is Mametchi, Himetchi, and Weeptchi in the garden! Once you successfully unscramble all three words you’ll score a Team Code. Scan that Tama Code with your Tamagotchi Pix to get your hands on a delicious meal of Tama Curry!
