The culmination of an intensive two-year collaboration between veteran choreographer Tamar Rogoff and Gregg Mozgala, an actor with cerebral palsy. Their creative exploration, at the intersection of science and art, led them to discover that his diagnosis and physical limitations were not necessarily fixed and immutable.

Film features story of choreographer, dancer who beat all medical odds

Gregg Mozgala was born with cerebral palsy and had never danced until Tamar Rogoff entered his life. Gregg and Tamar will share their story at a screening of the film "Enter the Faun" in Madison Wednesday night.

A few weeks ago in Tamar's class, Tamar started off the class by asking us where in our body we felt tight or stiff. I mentioned my feet, someone else mentioned their lumbar area and a third person...

This is a fascinating post that includes the writings and drawings of Crip Video Productions director Margot Cole who wrote the short films Drama Sighted , Only Those Who Limp Allowed , and Crips Not Creeps  and centers around an interesting bodywork technique for Cerebral Palsy.
