Tama Racing Returns to the Tama Arena for October 2024!

Looks like we’re getting another revival. The Tama Racing event is back in the Tama Arena starting on Thursday, October 17th, 2024! This one is sentimental because it was the very first Tama Arena event! First, choose between team rose quartz, or team amethyst!

Good thing you already know how to play. During the countdown you’ll repeatedly tap the “A” button to get a boost at the start.

Hold down the “B” button to increase the speed, but be careful don’t press the button too long or the meter will go over the speed limit and go back to zero!

If hurdles and stars appear, snap your device toward you to jump!

When there is a cut-in animation, repeatedly tap the “A” button to dash.

Results will be announced at the end! Depending on how you rankly you’ll score some Gotchi Points each day of the event. 1,000 Gotchi Points for first place, 750 Gotchi Points for second place, and 500 Gotchi Points for third place.

Based on how often you play, you’ll get some awesome prizes, and one of them is new! Reward A is the new prize which is a Grand Prix Trophy accessory, Reward B is the Racer Helmet, and Reward C is Tamaverse Water. You’ll earn rewards A, B, and C if you play for 6-7 days, rewards B, and C if you play 2 to 5 days, and reward C if you play for 1 day.

The winning team will of course be rewarded with the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points! So choose your team wisely.

The Tama Racing revival starts on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 14:00 JST through Thursday, October 24th, 2024 13:59 JST. Result calculation period is from Thursday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST through Friday, October 25th, 2024 13:59 JST. Reward distribution from Friday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST through Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 13:59 JST.

Tama Racing Revival Results are Being Calculated!

The Tama Racing revival has come to an end! It was definitely very nostalgic playing the very first Tama Arena game again. Now that the event has come to an end, Bandai is calculating the results too see which team won. Will team rose quartz or team amethyst win the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points?

The last we heard, team rose quartz was in the lead, but did they win? We’ll find out on Friday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST! Then you can claim your prizes in the Tama Arena from Friday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST through Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 13:59 JST.

Preregister for Tama Racing Revival!

We’re really excited to welcome Tama Racing back to the Tama Arena! Although the event starts on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 14:00 JST, you can still register now for the event! Simply visit the Tama Arena to start the registration process, which includes choosing either team rose quartz, or team amethyst. Only one team will win the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points, so choose wisely!

Team Rose Quartz Wins Tama Arena Tama Racing Revival Event!

Team rose quartz pulled it off! They were leading in the mid-results and now they have officially won the revival of the Tama Racing event in the Tama Arena! The results are in, head over to the Tama Arena to hear them from Friday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST through Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 13:59.

The score was team amethyst with 296, and team rose quartz with 304! All members of team rose quartz will earn their prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points on top of their special items which will depend on how many days you’ve played for. We played for 5 days, so we earned the Race Helmet, and Tamaverse Water.

Prizes will be distributed in the Tama Arena from Friday, October 25th, 2024 14:00 JST through Tuesday, November 5th, 13:59! Whether your team won or not, do not forget to claim your prizes before time is up!

Bandai has also announced that the highest score worldwide was 3013! Congratulations to team rose quartz, and we are so excited to see what the next Tama Arena event will be!

Tama Racing Revival Mid-Results Are In!

We’re halfway through the Tama Racing revival event at the Tama Arena. If you head over to the Tama Arena you can view the mid-results which will inform you that team rose quartz is currently in the lead! Could team rose quartz win or will team amethyst pull through? We shall see!

Bandai Provides More Details on Tama Arena Tama Racing Event!

The details are here, and we’re so excited. Bandai recently announced the upcoming Tama Racing event at the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse, but left much to our imagination. Well more details are here, and you could say it’s about to get competitive!

As a reminder, the event will run from Monday, July 31st, 2023 from 14:00 JST to Monday, August 7th, 13:59 JST. The winning team will be calculated in early August, and then rewards will be distributed between August 9th, 2023, to August 25th, 2023!

Bandai outlines an overview of the event. Tamagotchi characters from all over the world are divided into two teams, which are pink and purple. For those of you who are like us, you’ve already registered your team at the Tama Arena (go team purple!). You can contribute to your team by participating every day and getting a high score. At the event, you’ll be able to join game and start racing, listen, to hear what is going on at the event, and just look, which will allow you to look at the Tama Racing. Are we going to cheer everyone on? Yes.

Then you’ll have access to play, which you can do just once per day during the event period, and your score will be reflected in your team’s performance, we’re assuming its cumulative. Practice, which is what you can do with Shirotamas, and you can practice before you get ready to play!

Then you’ve got directions, to learn how to play the game, and back to get back to the previous menu.

So how do you play? During the countdown, repeatedly press the “A” button to get a boost at the start, then hold down the “B” button to change your speed. Be careful, you don’t want to hold it for too long, or you will go over the speed limit and return to 0.

If there are hurdles and stars appear, shake your device to jump over them (omg, we love how they are using the gyroscope). Jump to dodge these items! Jump to catch this stars!

The results are in! Your score will be announced as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. What are the prizes? During the event period, you can claim your prize by going to the Tama Arena from August 9th, 2023 14:00 JST to August 25th, 13:59 JST.

What are the prizes? You can get one of three prizes depending on the number of days you play!

There is the Race Trophy for playing every day for 7 days, Race Helmet for playing 5-6 days, Tamaverse water for playing 1-4 days, and there is a grand prize for the winning team that you’ll get 5,000 Gotchi Points!

Bandai Japan Details Tama Arena Tama Racing Event in August

Looks like the Tama Arena is about to open up soon host its very own event! Bandai Japan has provided some details about the upcoming event on the official Tamagotchi website. Tama Racing, which is what we’ve seen in a recent video from Bandai Japan, and graphic provided above, where Tamagotchi’s race UFO’s and avoid objects to reach the finish line first is a global competition between Uni Tama’s!

The event will run from Monday, July 31st, 2023 14:00 to Monday, August 7th, 2023 13:59. Prizes will be handed out from mid-August to late August, how exciting is that! The winning team will be given a present. No mention on what the prize will be. Can’t wait to hear more! More details to be released at a later date.

To participate you just need to go to Tamaverse on your Tamagotchi Uni and visit the Tama Arena. Decide whether to belong to the pink or purple team, and then start playing Tama Racing! Do your best to not lose to opponents, and you can play only once per day.

OMG we are excited, the first event in the Tamaverse takes place at the Tama Arena, and you can play others around the world and win prizes? We love this.

Purple Team Wins Tama Racing Event!

The results are in! Head over to the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse to hear the results of the Tama Racing event that ran from July 31st, 2023 through August 7th, 2023! The results are in and the score was pink 291, and purple 309. All members of the purple team will earn their prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points on top of a special item depending on how many days you played for. We played every day and earned the race trophy!

Prizes will be handed out at the Tama Arena from August 9th, 2023 14:00 JST to August 25th, 13:59 JST. Whether your team won or not, do not forget to claim your prize before time is up!
