Question about TAMN: Is Grian transfem? I’m pretty sure this is implied, right? Or maybe I’m making this up… been a while since I read the fic 💔 maybe I should reread soon. Anyways… if Grian *is* transfem… would we maybe ever get a snippet of a coming out, maybe? X

There's definitely something implied with Grian's gender, you're not imagining things! Whether or not he's transfem, or something else is largely left to interpretation. Because of the apocalypse (and Grian's fear of engaging in personal exploration prior to the zombie outbreak) Grian is never going to be fully equipped with the language/definition/terms that living in a still-has-internet-and-community world would have offered him. Personally, our thoughts are that Grian is genderfluid. He's not dysphoric about his body, necessarily, but he is dysphoric about his presentation and how people perceive him (the good news is that this is something he allows himself the space and liberty to explore after the dust has settled in the post-epilogue world!).

It's something both Key and I would love (and plan!) to write about, but since we haven't yet, how about a post-epilogue TAMN!Grian doodle :3
