Bohol Bites | Tamper Coffee & Brunch
Day 2 in Bohol was exciting for us because we were going to hit the beach and go on some more adventures. We wanted to start our day with a good solid breakfast since we would be travelling and laying on the beach most of the day and since I’ve been to this delicious brunch place before, I had to go again while in Bohol. Tamper Coffee & Brunch has everything you need and want in a coffee shop, great food, fast WiFi, delicious coffee drinks, awesome service and a comfortable environment. I tell everyone to come here when they are in Bohol because it’s that good! Oh and all you instagram junkies, this place has tons of beautiful natural light not to mention a cute outdoor seating area for when you want to hangout in the evenings.
Some of the food we tried are:
Coffee- First things first, Coffee! I’m not a morning person unless you give me coffee. I had a mochaccino which is a mocha and cappuccino put together. They have the best freaking coffee here! I swear! I got mine with soy milk, they are probably the only coffee shop on the whole island that has a soy milk option for your coffee drinks so that gives them extra points (but they don’t need extra points because they are already winning! ). I’m not sure what Philip ordered but I think it was a hot latte. We drank our drinks so fast, because coffee is life!
Waffles- We had to try the waffles, not only did they come out looking exactly like the photo but they also tasted good too! I mean it’s almost impossible to mess up waffles anyways but these are great, especially for breakfast.
Longanisa Rice Bowl- This one was for Philip, last time I went here I had the fish rice bowl and loved it. The rice bowls also come with a fried egg making it great if you want a full complete breakfast these rice bowls are for you. They have a variety of different rice toppings for you to choose from.
Fish Burger with chips- I originally wanted to get the eggs benedict but they ran out so I went through the menu ( or should I say iPad, since that’s what’s there menu) and the fish burger and chips jumped out at me because I don’t remember seeing that last time I was there. The fish burger is a great option for people who don’t like breakfast food and prefer to skip straight to lunch (my husband is one of these people) the flavors were perfectly put together and the fried fish tasted fresh. I would totally eat it again.
Ferrero S’mores Blended Drink- We wanted to try one of their pastries but we literally had no room for food but I couldn’t keep my eye off their blended drink menu, it was calling me! So I tried the ferrero s’mores blended drink and I wasn’t disappointed at all! If you have a sweet tooth these drinks are made for you. They also come in a variety of other flavors but I was eyeing the Chocolate chip and the Oreo cheesecake blended drinks.
The brunch we had was delicious and perfect for our adventure that laid ahead. Tamper is my go to coffee shop/ brunch spot on the island and I guarantee you’ll love them too!
