This Maple Syrup Nut Tart is a decadent dessert that perfectly balances the rich flavor of maple syrup with the crunch of mixed nuts. It's simple to make and guaranteed to impress your guests with its irresistible aroma and taste.
Ingredients: 1 cup chopped mixed nuts such as pecans, almonds, walnuts. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 pre-made tart shell or pie crust.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Put brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, salt, and maple syrup in a saucepan. Stir the mixture all the time over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, or until it is smooth and a little thicker. Mix in the chopped nuts until they are covered evenly with the syrup. Spread the nut mixture out evenly in the tart shell or pie crust that has already been made. It should be baked in a hot oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Let the tart cool down before you serve it. You can serve it with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if you want to.
