At one point in the Stone Ocean manga, Dio is seen assembling a model ship, while he talks to Pucci. This doesn’t really matter or anything, but his paints/etc aren’t anything specific.
The anime version, just straight-up changes them to Tamyia brand(or an in-universe lookalike)- I’m assuming this is because they have stars on them, and if that’s the case as to why it was chosen, then I just find that to be really adorable.
Hi guys, with the hot weather coming quickly, the time on the bench becomes hard to achieve. So what better than a quick @airfix spitfire to recover the mojo. So here we go.
Have detached the main parts of the fuselage and gave them a thorough clean, as there will not be any masking tape, I have skipped the primer process. So interior cockpit from Tamyia was applied.
Little details have been painted in black, not that makes much difference at this scale as when the fuselage closed, they will not be see. I have painted them, using the 5x0 brush from a company called ABCBrushes, they are excellent for this type of details and with a very good relation quality/price.
A quick dab of brown paint in the chair.
And a quick dry fit. Some adjustments are in order to achieve a good junction.
Stay tuned for more advances.

Spitfire 1/72 by Airfix I guys, I have opened this box for a group build on the Facebook group British scale aviation, the group build goes under the name #Brit72. Once opened the box, I was happily surprised by the quality of the plastic injection. So started the building and wasn't that impressed with the cockpit details, almost non existent, after moving on from this initial disappointment, cracked on with the rest of the build that went a treat, a few gaps to be filled but nothing too much. I have then primed it with MRP fine surface primer in white and moved to the rest of the camo always with MRP paints. The MRP have flowed on the airbrush amazingly, with no clogs. Before applying the decals have applied a fine layer of MRP super clear, and must say that the final result is amazing. At the moment drying to move into the decals. See you guys soon.
