The hardest part of Voices ? Easy :) Everything..; it’s not in my language, it was my first Everlark, ...

Seriously, I think the hardest part was to know where to end it, you know ?

I wondered if I should make it a bit longer, or not ... and just followed my instinct :)

The Stone Carver’s Son by tanbwrites

I’ll admit freely that I don’t often read Historical or Mythological AUs, but the premise of @tanbwrites’ story “The Stone Carver’s Son” drew me in immediately. It’s based off (a reversal of) the Indian myth of Ahalya, which was completely unfamiliar to me. But it is so undeniably Everlark, exploring the depths to which they would go to protect each other. The prose is like poetry. It’s exquisite and beautiful, and I’m so happy to have given a story outside my wheelhouse a chance to captivate me. I highly recommend this story to everyone. It’s a beautiful read.
