An odd handgun that you don't see very often now a days, the Wilson Combat ADP.
However, Wilson Combat had very little to do with the development of this handgun, nor was first introduced to the market under that banner. The handgun was original from South Africa, manufactured by a company more versed in shotguns than handguns, it's a P7 style piston delayed blowback action, with a polymer frame, however there are certain design and materials choices that held back the design on it's Inception.
The handgun was originally imported into the US by Heritage Arms in the early 2000's, it performed as expected for an unknown handgun with questionable quality. The handgun finally got it's little spot with the Mark II revision, that was when Wilson Combat reached to the original manufacturer not only to import them but also apply some little touches to ensure they were good to go, most notably, they were refinished with Wilson Combat's signature finishes.
In Europe the handgun can also be found as the Tanfoglio P25, in even scarcer numbers, mostly due to the niche market that dedicated CCWs have in the old continent.
