Where did I get this from??

In a move shockingly unlike me, I managed to DL a file called “tanguska_cmbodysewingmachine_DEFAULT” and didn’t download the picture with it. As I dont keep defaults that I dont have a picture for, I can’t use it till I find it again. But I don’t know where I got it from since tanguska has been gone for like 2 years. I dont think it was from Skell’s pintrest cause I looked there again.

I tried that and still nothing! But I later realized that he was a married man, only being fatihful to his wife. x)

Pretty much. That was totally what I thought of, that my DLs folder wasn't in a backup (it currently isn't, but I have no need for it whatsoever atm because people here know this game's important for me and would never ever do such thing if they don't want me sobbing for days), and that basically I lost all my hoods and buildings and everything.

I think that would be one of the parts that would mostly make me angry, missing my DLs folder. I mean, it's not over 10GBs like some people, mine doesn't reaches 5GBs, but the fact that I've actually gone indeep and taken time to fix files and tweak things (i.e. I fixed the LS rugs a la hugelunatic to display ok off grid, fixed objects to be quartertile, townified and genetiziced my non-default eye set so that my game would spawn all sims with the full set of eyes (defaults+non-defaults), and other stuff), and I took my time to read all that stuff carefully so not to blow up things and cry under my bed. Some of my hood and some essentials are backuped. Many of my buildings are "safe" in my mediafire account, but my DLs folder? If that poofs that's gone and it'll take me ages to assemble it the way it's now.

Also, the fact that some of my discs are not working ok didn't help matters in my mind. Let's just say that I'm really fortunate to have BV, because my computer didn't want to read it the time I installed everything, and I installed it some weeks later, when I tried again and miraculously it decided to load. That'd be a problem too :x

I imagined this situation with my elder brother for some reason, and I promise I yelled so much at him. So much. Poor thing.

Did you try the repair option in Origin?

What's stupid is that I didn't know I could. I googled how to do that but sadly I am still getting the error after running the repair :(

have you downloaded any cc on your mac and then moved it to your pc? (really random question, but got this error when I did :P)

I don't have a mac. I noticed when I went to backup the files in Mods there was a folder labeled _MACOSX with a top from Sim Guys in it, though. I've seen them in Sims2 before but never had an issue *shrug*

Replies! :D Also, some extra news!

I'm seriously thinking of starting an extra blog, mainly for personal stuff and to post random silly things I like that are not really sims related, and maybe some writing I started doing (totally blaming voleste on that last one though, totally her fault <3).

If it does happen I'll make sure to throw a link sometime, but on the meanwhile, we'll see if that idea prospers (I have had the name taken for a while now, but I don't know what to follow/post! It's like I'm back at square one at tumblr!)

Oh, then I'm glad you know now! I remember that I heard of it around tumblr or maybe a livestream, and went "WAIT WHAT!?" I have to say, it comes pretty in handy, and it gives tons of possibilities if you pick the right flooring! The fountain's an example, and also the flooring of the dancefloor at that nightclub makeover I made sometime ago. It makes those things you'd normally take ages and tons of fencing to accomplish a piece of cake ;)

Ahahah, patience! Lots and lots of patience (and maybe some omsp's and poseboxes) :P That's a key, if I didn't like group pictures so much I think I wouldn't even bother xD

Your pictures are already pretty awesome though, don't know why you need my advice, I should be asking you for it <3

it’s incredible how inspiring TWD can be right? Once I build a whole town inspired by it on TS3.
