This recipe for Balsamic Glazed Grilled Tofu features a tangy marinade that caramelizes beautifully on the grill, providing the ideal balance of savory and sweet flavors.
Ingredients: 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and sliced into rectangles. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh chopped parsley for garnish.
Instructions: In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, and olive oil to make the marinade. Place tofu slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure each slice is well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking. Remove tofu from marinade, reserving the marinade for later use. Grill tofu slices for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until grill marks form and tofu is heated through. While grilling, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Allow to cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Once tofu is grilled, brush with the thickened marinade on both sides. Serve grilled tofu hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!

Even the most skeptical tofu eaters will love the flavor and texture of this crispy tofu recipe. The crispy tofu cubes are beautifully coated in a delectable glaze made of sweet maple syrup, tangy rice vinegar, and savory soy sauce.
Ingredients: 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed. 2 tbsp cornstarch. 2 tbsp soy sauce. 1 tbsp sesame oil. 1 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tbsp maple syrup. 1 tsp grated ginger. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 green onion, thinly sliced. 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the oven's temperature to 400F, or 200C. After cutting the pressed tofu into cubes, coat them evenly with cornstarch. Place the cubes of tofu on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, or until crisp and golden. As the tofu bakes, make the sauce in a bowl by combining soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt and pepper. When the tofu is crispy, put it in a big skillet and heat it up to medium. After adding the sauce, toss the tofu to ensure even coating. Simmer for a further two to three minutes, or until the sauce gets thicker and covers the tofu. Before serving, garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
