okay but like…imagine Eddie showing up at Buck’s house with a clock and being like “we’re learning about hours and how to tell time since that was very much not 9 o’clock, Buck.”
and really it’s just an excuse for Eddie to hang out with Buck because he’s jealous that Buck is dating two people.

10 years, 11 months, and 1 day ago, I drove off the dealership parking lot in my first ever brand new car (and second only ever car). Knuckles and I had many adventure together.
Today, I said goodbye to Knuckles and hello to Spike, ready to start a new journey together :)
@cal-daisies-and-briars cried over bears and I cried over cougars. it’s been a solid day so far.
I’ve only seen people’s reactions to the episode (because I’m still very behind…) but I’m now very concerned that the enjoyment I carried for the show is going to go away. I am so happy for all of you who wanted a baby/child acquisition. truly. but it is not my cup of tea. I actively avoid things where young children are a focus or big part of a story line. it is not something I care to watch. and I know this will become a thing for the show. which sucks for people like me who don’t want this but it’s great for those who do. sigh.
my coworker and I are talking about her newest book and she mentioned the mafia and now it has me thinking about Hollanov
Ilya goes back to Moscow when his father dies, obvs, but that’s when it’s revealed that his father also was running the mafia there. Alexei has been overlooked for the next leader because while Grigori had been trying to teach him, Alexei was showing no promise and so instead Ilya is named. but Ilya wants to keep playing hockey (and go back to Shane) and so when he his back, the mafia people are coming for him to get him to lead them and Ilya is so determined to keep Shane safe and away from it and so maybe he pulls back a bit? Shane doesn’t understand and keeps trying to push because he really likes Ilya and wants to explore this thing between them even though Ilya is pulling away. and then maybe something happens and Shane gets taken by rival people who hate Ilya being head of the mob and blah blah etc etc.
just some thoughts.
asked Cal how the episode was (not watching currently due to mental health and I am also behind) and all I get is a voice message that is mostly just garbled sounds. so. a good episode.
thinking about Hollanov, as one does, and while I’m not big on AUs for my pairings, I find that for this particular pairing, I have absolutely zero desire for any AU. I love and adore them as hockey players. I don’t want them to be anything but hockey players. it is so core to who they are. like I’m good with future fics (like no hands are half as gentle by @cal-daisies-and-briars - which is an amazing future Hollanov fic y’all should go read) but they still played hockey together. I dunno. just random ramblings about two blorbos that have taken over my mind.
